Corn 2012

Corn planting began at our other farm on May 18, 2012 

Planting ended (finished) at our farm on May 28th at midnight.

Then the rains came

June 14, the corn is up but it is VERY yellow and starving for the sun.

July 3, still alot of standing water, weeds are enjoying it... definitely not knee high by the 1st of July

July 7th... and over run by weeds - the weeds are what is so green!

July 28th - looking much healthier than expected... FIL replanted some areas at his place

 

 

August 6  - corn looks good from this stand point... but its a little barren in a few spots elsewhere

 

August 22 - can't see the barn - tassles & cobs starting... could use some rain
