At the front of our property we have always had a driveway that gave us access to the front of the field without destroying crop. We would add "hog fuel" to it when it got soft or composted down. (Hog Fuel: an unprocessed mix of coarse chips of bark and wood fiber. Pieces run between a coarse grade of less than 5" to a fine grade of less than 2".)
Well, as time went on this has been an issue with upkeep. Mostly due to the problem of getting hog fuel now. Its just not readily available.
So... Karl decided to dig it all out, put in a base and gravel over the top. It is now a permanent driveway and much more stable.
As he was leveling out the gravel I had to be his "eyes" so that he didn't hook that top hydro wire... yeah that wouldn't be a pretty picture if he did!
